Participating Institutions

WHAT IS IT?

OPEN is a web-based portal for institutions involved with peace and conflict studies, both in research and practice. Participating institutions can announce programs and events under their own logo and identifying label, with a direct electronic link to their own website. Announcements of programs and events can be posted on the OPEN space, and interested visitors can link to the institution's website for further information on the event and institution.

OPEN will be hosted by the UN-mandated University for Peace (UPEACE) and will be free of charge for participating institutions and users.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
  • Contact, exchange, and wider availability of information on programs and events, to serve the common purpose of making peace education available as widely as possible;
  • Mutual support for common objectives;
  • Announcement of programs and events, to reach more potential participants for activities and services;
  • Creation of a true network of like-minded institutions.
HOW TO JOIN?

Your webmaster can contact info@open.upeace.org directly to inscribe your institution. All that is needed is your logo and pertinent information on any event or activity you wish to announce. In a later phase, OPEN participating institutions will be able to upload their information directly on the website. UPEACE reserves the right to determine whether an institution is an appropriate participant.
